When It Comes To Parenting Why Are People So Judgemental?
There really is no wrong or right way to parenting, it all really is trial and error. Everyone has different methods and such. I don’t get why some people with children act like they where the first people on this earth to have a child and think there way of parenting is the only way.

i know what u mean – i really do!
some people are so judgemental of the way you raise your child, and they really shouldnt be cuz they aren’t their children, and its not their choice how you raise ur children! if you choose not to breastfeed – they shouldnt judge you because of that – at the end of the day its your personal choice how you raise a child – and yeah ur right it is all trial and error, some spank, some dont, some dont give their children as many boundaries as others.
just ignore them and raise ur children how you see best, dont let other peoples views/opinions affect ur decisions.

Because everyone thinks their way is the right way, and some are even complete zealots about it.
Edited to add…I can give a care what anyone thinks about how I raise mine, I have their best interests at heart and that’s all that truly matters and that you love them. It doesn’t matter if you breast or bottle feed, co-sleep or baby sleeps in his own room, or whatever retarded “mommy battle” people come up with these days. For Chrissakes, people are warring and starving and our world is a hot mess, the busybodies need a reality check. Unless the kid is being neglected or abused, it’s none of anyone business if a parent’s style is different than another’s.

Everyone wants to think that they are doing the best for their child–and to see someone make the opposite choice and their child turn out fine or pretty terrific also, is threatening.
Also, judging strangers in public–you are seeing only a small snapshot. You don’t know the whole story.
Illustration: My nanny was at the mall with my son and giving him a bottle (of my milk). Some woman came up and chided her for not breastfeeding. Granted, they have the same coloring (actually opposite mine, but the same as daddy’s–they are all blondes with blue or green eyes), so it would be easy for someone to assume he was her child.

im also a mother. take it like this. everyone in this world have diff personalities right? so every parent have their own way of parenting. i have to admitt i have my way and so far i think im fine. but i also disagree with other ppl parenting their child.

Everyone knows what’s best in someone else’s situation ,I chalked it up to nobody wants to here what they have to say at home so they try and say it someone’s else’s home =they are stupid !

Not all parents think alike. All mothers/fathers parent their children different. It just depends on the person and how they want to do things!
