Did you ever consider that there where 100's of babys waiting for moms,or pregnant ladies who want to adopt their babies, in your area? Were you considering closed or open adoption? Look into foster/adoption, we were surprised at how much of a choice you can have through the county. In California you become a foster parent but you can choose to NOT take a child unless you can adopt them. We were surprised at how different the choices could be-you can choose the kind of child you want to adopt and the fees are not as ridiculous as foreign adoption. Good luck! Try adoption.com
