I am researching a paper for a religious diversity class. My topic is “Religion’s influence on the decision to parent vs. relinquish for adoption in cases of unplanned pregnancy.” I am hoping to get a well rounded set of responses representing many different religious views. Please provide whatever background is necessary to illuminate this topic.

would you consider your self a free range parent? what do you feel are the pros and cons of this method of parenting?

My husband and I had twin boys placed with us two months ago. Family and friends have been really wonderful and provided us with a lot of clothes and toys for the boys. Now it looks like there is a real chance we will not get to finalize the adoption at the end of the six month placement period. If our worst fears happen, what do we do with all of the adorable things our friends gave us?

We have been trying to get pregnant since last june.This month I had some strange spotting around the time I think I ovulated and it lasted for seven days. Also we had sex around that same time. The last two periods have been 35 day cycles. Now it is 35 days and I still have not got a period. When should I start to wonder about pregnancy should i wait a few days? I took some early response pregnancy tests and they were negative but i didn’t use my FMU. What are my chances of being pregnant?

do you prefer that people only see the useful side of you? do you question people who you think act out of the character that you think they have? what do you think that says about their parenting styles or abilities?

I have asked around and people say you get a ton of “all of a sudden energy”, but are there any other things that happen to you the last week of pregnancy, like cramps, absentmindedness. I just am so anxious and want to know when she is gonna pop out! I am at 37 weeks and can harldy wait anymore.

I am 30 wks. And I have had pelvic and back pain again(I had it in my first trimester it was stretching.) but not where I can’t really sleep cause I am never comfortable no more. This has been going on for about 1 wk now and I am in a pregnancy club and they say that dropping can mean (if first pregnancy)that you will deliver in about 2 to 4 wks.Could I be having this baby really soon. I feel him in my pelvic area.

I know I let a parent get under my skin yesterday. And I should have just walked away when she was basically attacking my choice for something about my child, that I know is right for him. But she did the opposite for her child. And in the future, I will just walk away, instead of getting into a disagreement with her. Just curious what other parents do in situations where you feel verbally attacked by other parents.
