I am thankful to all of you for sharing your stories and your pain, your loss, and/or your joys. I have met some wonderful people here – we may not always agree on things – but you have made me realize things that I haven’t maybe considered before. So I thank you.
What are you thankful for as the year comes to a close?

If they are not scared by them, and if it’s not too gory or violent, do you think it’s bad parenting to allow them to watch them?

Is there a site that gives statistics based on a child’s age and race of how many children are placed for adoption each year?

Mine is to have a better more active pregnancy this time around.
Make sure my family eats better this year.
To have my daughter not feel left out when the new baby arrives.
Try not to spoil my daughter.
To be consistent with my parenting.
Take better care of myself so I can take better care of my family.

My 5 year old daughter starts school next year and my ex and I can’t seem to agree on the best parenting arrangement. I have proposed a week on week off arrangement as I feel this would provide more stability. She prefers a mid week handover. Which of these options would be better for my daughter?
