I am writing an editorial and need some reasons why adoption is important. I have a sister that is adopted and think it is very imporant in some cases.

studies done by doctors, scientists, lawyers, judges, astronauts, whatever other important people out there that have two cents on just about everything.
what percentage would you say make up those choices?

There are thousands of bad books – but what are some good ones, recommended by counsellors? Our daughter has difficulty with things like self-discipline and mixing with people. Thanks.

I love my child more than anything in this world. I will always give him whatever he wants. (No, he is not a spoiled brat as he truely appreciates everything).
He is 16, he wants to be a race car driver. He has done several modifications to his car to make it faster. He is very serious to this hopeful career path as now he is enrolled in college mechanic courses.
I want to support him and be there and encourage his goals in life. But, I am so worried about this race car thing as I know he races around town. Of course since he’s 16, he thinks he knows everything and that he drives so well a car accident is not imaginable.
I am so scared that one day I am going to get a call, but then at the same time, I want him to know I am behind him in any decision he wants to make in this life. I know he is 16, and I am stuck in between being a mother, his guidance and his support. What should I do? I am so worried about a car accident.

I have a ten-week old daughter. I am in school and have to study a lot. My husband is in Iraq so in a way I am a single mom. I have help from my parents while I am in school but no help for when I am studying. Holding her is not working for me. I NEED to study. Am I hurting her by putting her down to cry herself to sleep if she has been fed, changed and gets a lot of cuddles?

After 27 years my son i gave up for adoption is back in my life,i cant take away the title of mom or mother from the adoptive parent that raised him.What would His title be to me at this time ? He is technically their son by adoption, But what is the term i use to refer to him ? Son just seems inappropriate – insensitivetive to them.

I recently found out that i got my gf pregnant. We’re both 17 and neither of our parents know yet. We want to keep the baby (of course), so what kind of can help the 2 of us through this? I am about 6 days late for my period. I took a pregnancy test this afternoon ( with little pee), and it was negative. Could i have just tested at the wrong time?
