I am about 6 days late for my period. I took a pregnancy test this afternoon ( with little pee), and it was negative. Could i have just tested at the wrong time?

Has anyone got some witty, humorous parenting tips they would like to share? You know, the stuff they don’t teach you in books. A friend is expecting her first baby and I’m compiling a selection of the best to give her a laugh at what baby care & parenting is REALLY about!

Most of the time my ex is supposed to be spending with our daughter, she leaves her with the grandparents. This next trip her grandparents are not even taking her to see her mother. The divorce papers list the time as parenting time for the mother, not grandparents- do I have to let them take her?

My fiance has 3 kids from a prior marriage, 2 of them still minors. The kids were taken away from us over the summer because my fiance cancelled their trip (that was scheduled on his parenting time) to their grandma’s. The kids were planning to go to grandma’s and not come back because their grandma is rich and they have friends down there. Now, Christmas is coming, and 1 of the kids have accepted our apologies while the other is calling us stupid etc. The mother is constantly reminding the kids of how her relationship with their father was (it wasn’t pretty, but he never hit, abused in any way his children, she couldn’t keep her legs or mouth shut). She also tells them that he doesn’t love them because he’s barely there to see them… he lives in another state and working 80 hours a week to pay their child support, his rent, car payment, taxes whatever else you can think of. My fiance and ex always argue, pretty ugly convers. what will the friend of the court do in this case?

I researched a lot about how to take care of the baby, breastfeeding, nutrition, etc while my wife had no patience for a book. I recommended a parenting class so she’ll know what to do. Did you or your husband go to any?

Adams county to be exact. Like I said ex step-parent who was awarded parenting time with the child. Please advise!!

Hey, Im divorced and i have a 4 month old baby boy with my ex. He never wants to use his parenting time cuz he is always going out. he has seen my son for 3 days in the past month. The man im with now loves him and would like to adopt my son and but my ex will not volintarily sign off because of his mother. is there any way around him to get his parenting rights terminated?

Have a court order in Arizona that was inssued when the mother and minor child relocated to Louisiana. Father is visiting in Louisiana and there is a clause in the AZ ruling that states ” the Father is allowed overnight parenting time when he is in the city where his daughter resides.” He has given the proper notice, mother has ackowledged request and denied it for no reason. Call local police and they say they cannot help. How do we call???

I have polly systic overies, and i have been showing signs of pregnancy, but cant take the OTC prego test, because of my systs, it dosent detect the pregnancy hormone. Will the blood test work or no, and if not then how can i tell if i am truely pregnant? This is causing great stress in my relationship to my boy friend and my self, because we dont know what to do first. Since Money is an issue, ccan you guys help to find out if there are possibiltys of a free blood test some where? At a possible hospitle here in Burlington, Iowa, or what i need to do to look into that. Thanks.

With my first pregnancy, which we weren’t trying, I had extremely sore breasts and a missed period.
We have been ttc and I am not due for my period until next week, however I’ve been awfully bloated and my body just aches since we finished trying. I feel like I am, instictually and physically. But those are my only two symptoms. I’m still breastfeeding our 18 month old daughter as well but I’ve had a normal period since she was 3 months old.
How soon do you think I could test? Any suggestions and prior experiences really appreciated!
