How Do You Feel About That Attachment Parenting?
Sunday, February 14th, 2010Seems a bit too out there for me, I feel sorry for the children. How do the parents go about driving a car or even being in a car, would they use a child seat or what?

Personally, I was a clueless first time mother who learned most of my parenting from the many books I read. I then applied that information into our daily lives. When something did not work, I tried something else. I found the information learned from “the experts” most benificial to me and my children. I could never had been as creative without the information learned.
I would love to do an international adoption! It’s just something I’ve always dreamed about. I’ve read on several websites and most of them only allow people 25+ to apply, sometimes 30+. Since the wait can normally be so long I’d like to apply a year or two before then. Does anyone know of international agencies that allow this? If not, it’s really not a problem. I’ll just wait. Any advice on international adoption would be appriciated. Thank you!
I’m in a parent/child development class and in November, we’re doing a baby project. For this, we get a mechanical baby that cries every three to four hours and we have to hold a key in their back for about 10-15 minutes, to symbolize feeding them. We get the babies for five days, over night and over a weekend. We also have to take them to classes, when the teachers allow it. I cannot wait until we get to do this project, it’s most of the reason I wanted to take this class.
Anyway, just wondering your thoughts on the project and if you think it’s a good idea.
Oh, and btw, I’m a senior in high school, the class is open to ninth-twelfth, I think.
Is there a kind of guardianship that will give the new parents irrevocable rights while maintaining some rights of the natural parents, with the same permanency of adoption?
If 2 people can have custody of a child…. why not 4?
There is nothing fake about me and my very real family or my very real adoptive son, or the very real love and support me husband and me gives to all of our children. So why then would someone say that adoption erases a child’s identity and replaces it with a fake one?
How is it possible in ectopic pregnancy (on abdominal wall) for sperm to contact an egg which does not enter the uterine tube?
I live in America and I want to give my baby up for adoption, but I don’t want it to grow up in America. So far all I can find is information on Americans adopting babies from other countries when I want to do the opposite.
It seems like the main reason for step parent adoption is to alienate one parent. Usually the child is already cared for and nothing changes, other then the exchanging of parental rights.
Of the cases I know, fathers adopt their new spouses child(ren) to pass as his own and save her reputation or so they can force the other father out of the child life. I don’t think I’ve known personally of a case where it was done for the sake of the child.
My feelings are still unclear on this topic.
What do you think?
Adolescent crime is becoming a big thing. Most people said that better parenting would help reduce the problem. What changes or practices would you consider helpful in combating adolescent crime?
