My Mother gave a child up for adoption in Dallas, Texas many years ago..the child would be around 10-15 years of age now. I would like to find my brother. Can someone help me as to what a good place to start would be?

I’m 27 and my mom has been married to my “dad” for 26 years. I was wanting to do the adoption process but didn’t know if I needed to include the bio father or not. Haven’t spoke to him in years.

My wife and I are trying to get started on the adoption process in Texas. I’m 31 but she’s 23 and the age thing trips us up with a lot of agencies. It seems like we’ve had several false starts with the process and we just want someone to point us in the right direction. If anyone has any answers, that would be swell. Thanks!
