Has anyone got some witty, humorous parenting tips they would like to share? You know, the stuff they don’t teach you in books. A friend is expecting her first baby and I’m compiling a selection of the best to give her a laugh at what baby care & parenting is REALLY about!

Please include as many details as possible, some suggestions are, Child Psychology, Behaviour Issues, Development, Expectations. I want to write a book that helps parents to just be themselves when tackling parenthood.

My son is almost 2. My dad thinks I let him get away with too much. I tell him “no” all the time when he does wrong (like touch things he’s not supposed to), but my dad thinks I need to slap his hand or punish him. Usually i try to remove him from the situation. I feel he does not understand time outs yet. Does anyone have similar problem with your own parents? How do you handle it?

I divorced in 03 she has custody, but my son has lived with me since May of 09′ Now she has hired an attorney to get him back. Will filing a parenting plan stop a big custody fight?

I’m a senior in high school and they gave me parenting class as an elective. I’m a girl btw. We’re gonna take home the baby dolls in October. I was just wondering , what kind of stuff should i expect from the baby? I know it’s going to cry a lot. Do i really have to change its diapers? I’m already good with babies but i’m just wondering.
