My wife and I are getting ready to go onto an adoption list and they have to do a home study and we are going to have physicals. What are they looking for in both of them?
I am interested in lesson plan for parenting skill building. designed for parents with children under six years of age. the lesson plan will teach parent how to understand young children, behavior, build self-esteem in early years, helping young children learning to cooparate, discipline, children’s emotional and social development. if you have one or you know where i can find with littel or nothing. i need it very bad.
I have been a parent for 3 years and I often think about what parenting would have been like for people living in 1800′s, 1700′s..even the 1600′s. Is anyone aware of a book, preferably written by a woman (since historically women were the primary caregivers), that discussed the basics of parenting is those time periods? The main subject of the book does not have to be about being a parent, but one that writes about parental situations alongside of the main plot.
I am running a children’s english school in China currently. I myself have a six years old daughter and two year old son. I got a lot opportunities in discussing with different parents about how to educate our kids. I find out parents in China really need be educated in a lot of aspects. So I am start looking for good parenting programme, hopefully our school can introduce it. I am very much appreciate on any clues.
