I adopted a dog from a rescue group and today they called to tell me I have to give the dog back because it already has owners looking for it. They failed to check the dog’s microchip before the adoption. I just wanted to know if there were any laws that they broke regarding this issue?

I am 17 yrs old and am pregnant and do not want to give my baby up for adoption. My parents however do.
Do my parents have legal rights to force me to chose adoption?

Say for example, the agency was a shady adoption agency doing something illegal or the adoption wasn’t ethical such as the biological father’s permission wasn’t obtained, and one of the bio parents wants the child back, should they return the child without protest?
I’ve seen cases like this in the media, and the AP’s fought it and dragged the case out in court for years. What do you think the right thing to do would be?
