I’ve been watching the secret life of an american teenager, and I was just curious….Does a minor father have to sign papers in order for the minor mother to put her child up for adoption? Does he have to sign away his fatherly rights? Or is it just the minor mothers decision?
Please state your position in the adoption triad (adoptive parents, 1st parent, adoptee), and how having more or less confidence would have affected your adoption decisions.
They have: Adolescent, Adoption, Baby Names, Grade-Schooler, Newborn & Baby, Other – Pregnancy & Parenting, Parenting, Pregnancy, Toddler & Preschooler, and Trying to Conceive but NO labor and child birth section. I can understand how that could tie in with pregnancy. But still they should have their own sections.

At the passing of my mother last year I found the court papers of my given birth name. The adoption records were sealed.
Whats the process to find birth parents names?
What is your opinion on this?
I notice that some of the people who hold themselves up as parenting experts aren’t actually parents themselves. For example, Gina Ford. There are also some people on Yahoo! Answers who regularly give detailed advice on subjects such as parenting and co-sleeping, but aren’t actually parents.
Do you have to be a parent to really understand these issues? Or is it possible to gain expertise through working with children alone?
On these pages we often read about parents who seems so confident and knowledgeable about parenting. I just wonder if those parents have had big problems with their kids or maby been negatively surprised by their kids behavior. Do spankers, do non-spankers, do loving and caring parents all face the same: problems with their kids? Who can really say that my way is the only way?
I have a soon to be 2 year old daughter that is very naughty. Yes I know 2 year olds can be a handful but this seems out of my control right now. My parenting style is not working and would like to read a book that may help me. I have a 10 year old boy that was not difficult at all. I also have a 4 month old son.
Also, if I do fundraising to raise money for an adoption do I need to start a non profit? Any info would be helpful!
