Humorous Parenting Tips For First Time Mum?
Has anyone got some witty, humorous parenting tips they would like to share? You know, the stuff they don’t teach you in books. A friend is expecting her first baby and I’m compiling a selection of the best to give her a laugh at what baby care & parenting is REALLY about!

Ha! SuzieQ I’ve done the same thing on occasion. Nothing funnier than seeing a grown adult acting like that.
Yeah, if breastfeeding, don’t watch a scary movie. While I was home with my daughter, I was sitting on the couch breastfeeding and got enthralled in a thriller, got snapped back to reality when my little one start thrashing her arms and legs. I looked down and had been getting so tense by the movie that I had pulled her too close to my breast and poor baby was being smothered by my boob! I felt so bad! She just stopped eating and stared up at me like, “You idiot, what are you trying to do?” Her little baby brow was all wrinkled with a scowl…lol.

When my daughter has a tantrum or puts on a face, I copy her. I act like a baby having a tantrum or pull the same face. We both end up laughing and I am able to reason with her a lot easier than when we are both in a blind rage!
