5 or more, but most home pregnancy tests detect 10-25, blood tests will pick up less

well some pregnancy tests can pick up even the faintest amount. Most hpt have a sensitivity b/w 25miu and 50 miu but if your taking a non digital test you may get a faint line when you have a smaller amount. The drs don’t confirm pregnancy until it is at least 25. Its confusing!!!
    -5= not pregnant
5-24= equivocal meaning that its 2 soon 2 call
    25+ is pregnant!!!!
do you mean that your 3 weeks past your last period or 3 weeks past ovulation??

  3. Mommy to Baby Joel Says:

No that should detect a pregnancy. Your hcg has to be 5 or higher for there to be a positive pregnancy.

some tests are sensitive and can pick up a level of about 20- 25 but anything 5 and above is considered positive for pregnancy
