My cousin and his girlfriend want my husband and I to adopt their baby when it is born next year, and they want an open adoption. What kind of paperwork goes into an open adoption? Is it basically the same as a closed adoption? What kind of rights do the birth parents keep with an open adoption? My husband’s and my biggest concern is if they will have the ability to take back the baby if they change their mind.
On every site I look the age limits are different for Kazakhstan! And I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on agencies.
I’ve seen quite a few people stating that they are adopted and they have placed their babies for adoption….and then some have even gone on to adopt children.
I find this curious. Is this common? Why do you think this would be?
Many times when someone asks a question about adopting or placing their child for adoption there are a lot of answers that say how wonderful and selfless the person is.

My one year old son seems to be allergic to my two cats. We have a heppa filter in his room but the rest of the house seems to give him a rash, runny nose and itchy eyes. Both cats are about 10 years old and aren’t in the best health either…
I’m wondering if it’s more humane to euthanize them or put them up for adoption?

My husband and I have infertility problems, I have PCOS and he has low sperm count and low motility. We have been seeing a fertility specialist, but we feel like this is not what God wants us to do. We feel like we are supposed to adopt. How can we find a birthmother outside of an adoption agency? We are christian people, with alot of love to give a child, and I assure any of you, the child we adopt will not ever want for anything.
